Taylors of Harrogate family owned tea company from Harrogate in in North Yorkshire, England. Taylor’s uses high-quality ingredients with from the best tea growers in the world. They have over 20 different tea flavors. Including green teas, black teas and herbal teas.
They do things properly, without shortcuts, showing care and respect to everyone along the way – from the people who grow it to the people who drink it. Since 1886, when their founder Charles Taylor sold his first pack of tea, that’s been right at the heart of our company, and we think it shows.
Taylors of Harrogate is Carbon Neutral
The products Talyors of Harrogate make are responsible for emitting carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere at every stage of their life – from the farm that grows the tea and coffee, to the ship that brings it to the UK, to us turning the lights on in Harrogate and finally delivering products to your shop.
So, they have worked with independent experts to measure how much greenhouse gas their products are responsible for – the product carbon footprint. Taylors made a commitment in 2015 to achieving a Net Zero carbon footprint, meaning that they reduce our footprint as much as possible and then make sure they remove what’s left from the atmosphere.
